Summer and winter in Val Gardena
Two seasons, one holiday place: choose winter or summer.
Winter
Many regular guests agree: in Val Gardena, winter shows its most beautiful side. The Dolomites rise majestically into a bright blue sky, while slopes, cross-country trails, winter hiking paths and toboggan runs wind through the snowy fairy-tale landscape.
Selva is an ideal starting point for the Sella Ronda: clockwise or anticlockwise you circle the mighty Sella massif within Dolomiti Superski, the world's largest ski area – with 1,200 km of perfectly groomed slopes.
Away from the slopes, you will find cross-country trails in the Langental valley and on the Alpe di Siusi, signposted winter and snowshoe hikes and several toboggan runs with mountain huts along the way.
